CHARITIES SUPPORTED IN 2016
ALMOST $3,500 RAISED FOR OUR CHARITY, "THE RICHMOND SOCIETY FOR COMMUNITY LIVING".
As a result of raffle prizes generously donated by Vern Jurovich, the owner of Macdonald Realty Westmar, and the support of all those who attended both the Pubnite on November 20th and the Christmas Party held this past Tuesday, we are pleased to be able to provide this support for our local charity, Tthe Richmond Society for Community Living.
2ND ANNUAL MACDONALD REALTY FUNDRAISER A SUCCESS!
Janet would like to thank everyone who attended the recent pubnite in support of our charity, the Richmond Society for Community Living. We raised over $1,600 from admission tickets to the Buck & Ear Pub, 50/50 sales and the raffling off of 2 Canucks hockey tickets! She would also like to thank all her helpers that evening for making the evening such a success.
The Richmond Society for Community Living is a community-based non-profit organization that assists infants, children, youth and adults with development disabilities. Through programs and support services offered to individuals and their families, RSCL assists more than 1,000 people in the Richmond community. RSCL recognizes the unique abilities of all individuals and is dedicated to the vision of 'Seeing Beyond Disability to Ability'.
We hope to raise additional funds at our upcoming office Christmas party to reach our target this year of $2,000.

LIGHT THE NIGHT WALK
Dearest Janet,
Thanks to your generous donation, we are now one step closer to finding a cure.
Finding cures and improved treatments for all those battling blood cancers will come only through research.
There are almost 100,000 people fighting in Canada; your dollars will help fund the research that will improve the quality of their lives, and hopefully one day completely eradicate the disease.
Thank you for your support and for choosing to make a difference.

McHappy Days
On May 7, 2014 I joined a few friends to participate in McHappy Days, an annual fundraiser at McDonalds to help kids and families in our community. Proceeds from this year's McHappy Days went to benefit the Richmond Society for Community Living. We all had a lot of fun but I have a new appreciation for those hard workers behind the counter! Thanks to all those who supported this worthwhile event.
Fundraiser for Richmond Society for Community Living
Last year I was happy to act as the coordinator of fundraising in my office. We chose to support the Richmond Society for Community Living, a non-profit organization that offers programs and support services to infants, children, youth and adults with development disabilities. We sold many raffle tickets and held a successful pubnite. Here is a photo of our General Manager, Andrew Leong and myself presenting a cheque to Janice Barr, Executive Director, Richmond Society for Community Living with Mark Downey.
